Question: Does it come with the remote control standard?

Answer: No, it does not. That was only available to those who pre-ordered on kickstarter. For the rest of us it is sold seperatly. I prefer to use a programable universal remote rather than the one they make as I can set it to explode kittens in many different ways simultaniously, rather than only one at a time. =P

Question: I know this one won't meow like the KS edition, but does this box open the same way? Or is it just a standard thin cardboard deck of cards type box?

Answer: Sorry about that! The Original Edition box does not meow nor have a hinged magnetic top. But it's far from standard! We used the same high quality, two-part, thick cardboard box that we used on the NSFW Edition box (for Kickstarter and now available on Amazon).
